Scanor can supply our trademarked, Austalian made Under Deck traffic detector loop ‘ SCANLOOP TM – UD’. Ideal for concrete pavements where the detector is required to be ‘tied’ above or below the reinforcement bars (ideally Glass fibre).
The SCANLOOP TM UD comes in 2 diameters; 10mm and 16mm, with 3 or 5 winds to each (situation dependent). Single ‘counter’ or detection loop, or ‘double’ entry/exit loops can be manufactured.
The SCANLOOP TM – UD is manufactured to incorporate a ‘zero void’ sensor embedded within the pavement structure. This gives additional longevity and removes issues of cable vibration.
The SCANLOOP TM – SD is specifically designed for use with asphaltic surfaces. A clean and effective alternative to ‘cut-in-loops’ where the entire intersection is being resurfaced/renewed. Installation happens post milling of the old surface, and before the new surface is laid. Our dedicated team will work between these 2 trades to line up, install and connect prior to the surface being re-sheeted.
On completion the new surface does not need to be cut or sealed, the detectors are already active below the new, clean and untampered with asphalt.
