SCANOR provide loop cutting services across a range of infrastructure settings. We have mobilised to CBD intersections, Motorway and regional roads. All loops being cut to TfNSW, QR or MainRoads standards.
A Cut-In loop is usually the preferred method of repairing failed or damaged vehicle detectors at traffic signals or counting/detection bays. We also install Stop-line camera detection loops and infringement loops (PIEZO).
Our dedicated crews carry all testing equipment, Installation equipment and we can provide full Traffic control services to ensure smooth works and efficient road space use. Our success rate is 99.7%, with over 4500 loops cut in to date.
On completion the new surface does not need to be cut or sealed, the detectors are already active below the new, clean and untampered with asphalt.
